Home on the Range - For ukulele

 C AM F FM
oh give me a home where the buffalo roam,
 C D G (G7)
where the deer and the antlelope play.
       C AM F FM
where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
         C G7 C
and the skies are not cloudy all day.

 C G7 C (C)
Home, home on the range,
           C D G (G7)
where the deer and the antelope play.
       C AM F FM
where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
         C G7 C
and the skies are not cloudy all day.

I couldn't find a version of this with chords that sounded right with how we Kansans like to sing it.
(It was written here in 1870 as a poem titled "My Western Home" by Dr. Brewster M. Higley.
The original music to it was written by Daniel E. Kelley, and now it is our state song.)

So I sat down with a chord chart and made this up.
The chords in parenthesis aren't necessary to make it sound good (for new players) but they do sound nice
when added in.

Hope yall enjoy!
