STONE TEMPLE PILOTS/ex-VELVET REVOLVER frontman Scott Weiland has released a new Christmas single, a cover of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”.
Weiland performed the tune — made famous by Judy Garland in “Meet Me in St. Louis” — on “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” back in 2006.
Weiland‘s rendition of the song can be heard on AOL Radio‘s Rock Holiday station.
STONE TEMPLE PILOTS recently postponed their previously announced December and January tour dates until next year so they can complete work on their highly anticipated new album. The CD is being helmed by famed producer Don Was, who has previously worked with THE ROLLING STONES, IGGY POP and POISON, among many others.
