[Verse 1:]
                Dbm A
I can see your eyes staring into mine.

But it's a battlefield and you're on the other side.
                    Dbm A
You can throw your words sharper than a knife.
              E B
And leave me cold in another house on fire.

I lay low, lay low, and watch the bridges burn.
 Dbm A E Abm
I lay low, lay low, what more could I have done?

She said stay away 'cause that boys a warning sign.

I lay low, lay low, and watch the bridges burn.

            A
who says I love you dear.
            E Abm
But I'm leaving.

[Chorus:]

Now you only bring me black roses.

The Black Widow Tabs by Link Wray

                                                  THE BLACK WIDOW
                                                    Link Wray
Great Guitar Hits by Link Wray - 1962
                                                Dylan Ward

This song is written in a very straightforward 12 bar blues structure.
12 bar blues uses the root note, the perfect fifth and the perfect fourth to base riffs
and chords around.
Link Wray uses this structure a lot in his songs so it's a cool bit of knowledge to have.
This song is in the key of E, so it plays four bars on root note; E (i), before jumping
for two bars to the perfect fourth; A (iv).
It then returns to E (i) for two bars before moving to the perfect fifth; B (v) for one bar,
back to the A (iv) for one bar and finally returning to E (i) for two bars and
completing the 12 bar structure.

The song simply repeats this structure throughout.
There is also a little solo thing Link does but haven't
figures that out, this should provide a good base for
throwing licks around on top of however. Cheers

Tuning: Drop C# (C#,G#,C#,F#,A#,D#)

Riff 1

F#|-4-4-4-4-3-4-7-7-7-7-----------------------------|

C#|-4-4-4-4-3-4-7-7-7-7-2-4-5-5-5-5-4-2-5-5-5-5-2-0-|

I know those chords look funky, but I'm 100% sure based on a live video that
that is how Shaun plays it. You can omit those notes on the low C# string
if you want and it'll still sound relatively close, just won't sound as
heavy as it does on the record.

Capo 4

Intro:
 E G D C#m C B

Verse 1:
       E G
In my eyes, indisposed,
        D C#m
In disguises no one knows.
            C B
Hides the face, lies the snake,
      E F
The sun in my disgrace.
          E G
Boiling heat, summer stench,
             D C#m
Neath the black the sky looks dead.
          C B
Call my name through the cream,
           E F
And I'll hear you scream again.

Chorus:
             C
Black hole sun,
            B
Won't you come,
      E D G
And wash away the rain.
             C
Black hole sun,
            B A B
Won't you come, won't you come, won't you come.

Verse 2:
        E G
Stuttering, cold and damp,
            D C#m
Steal the warm wind tired friend.
            C B
Times are gone for honest men,
                E F
And sometimes far too long for snakes.
         E G
In my shoes, a walking sleep,
         D C#m
And my youth I pray to keep.
         C B
Heaven sent hell away,
         E F
No one sings like you anymore.

Chorus:
             C
Black hole sun,
            B
Won't you come,
      E D G
And wash away the rain.

Black hole sun,

Won't you come, won't you come.

             C
Black hole sun,
            B
Won't you come,
      E D G
And wash away the rain.

Black hole sun,

   !!! HALF-STEP DOWN TUNING !!!

   Verse:
 Em G D A Em
Every time I've fallen, fallen down, I've picked myself up again from the ground
                  G D A Em
And just as I thought that it would cease, this black fever came over me
                   G D A
I won't let it show and you won't know

 Em G D A Em
To me it seems like I've lost my way, drifting like a ship without a sail
            G D A Em
Turning inwards silently, a battle raging deep within me
               G D A
Whisper my words in desperate need

   Chorus:
 Bm G D A
   Black heart, circulate anxiety
 Bm G D A
Black heart, in a state of sobriety
 Bm G D A
   Black heart, memories in solitude
 Bm G A
   This black heart is suffering

    Em G D A

   Verse:
 Em G D A Em
The walls are closing in on me, got to find myself in the debris
               G D A Em
Maybe if I read between the lines, maybe I failed to see the signs
                 G D A
Wish I could see through these dark clouds

 Em G D A Em
I'll have to find peace inside of me, and somehow set myself free
                  G D A Em
But I can't express what I feel, this black heart will never heal
                G D A
I'm letting go, don't let me go

   Chorus:
 Bm G D A
   Black heart, circulate anxiety
 Bm G D A
Black heart, in a state of sobriety
 Bm G D A
   Black heart, memories in solitude
 Bm G A

Tighten Up

This is an awesome song by The Black Keys one of my
favorite and this song is a fun song to play. The tab here
is like 99.99% correct because I have done research and
seen videos and even looked at an interview with
Guitar World where he gave a lot of the tabs, so this is
as accurate as you can get, enjoy.

Intro after bass
e|--9--9----9--9---7-7------------|
B|--10-10---9--9---7-7------------|
G|--11-11---9--9---7-7-----10-10--|
D|-(11-11---11-11--9-9)----11-11--|
A|------------------------(11-11)-|
E|--------------------------------|
Everything in parenthesis is optional, but I think
it makes it sound better

You can hear this at (0:13) but it is played many times in the background

e|---------------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------------------------|

A|-----------4s2-0-0---2-0---0-2-2p0-2-0---0-2s4-4s2-0-2---|
E|-2---2-------------2-----2-------------2-----------------|

This is played twice in the song one at (0:38) and at (1:44)

G|-------------11s9s11-9-9---------|
D|-------------------------11-9-7~-|

Then there is a second part similar to this but its played higher and there
is more to it. It is also played twice like the other one, one at (1:07) and the other at (2:12).

B|-19-19-17h19-17-------------|

My spirit tries and tries

Pain is this burdening power
It punishes the soul
It's stars all around us
I know, I know

Everything changes
Everything does, I know
I know, I know, I know, I know)*

Haunting At 1300 Mckinley Tabs by The Black Angels V3

This is a great song: it's easy to learn and fun to play. For distortion I find a
twang setting with medium drive/gain and a wah pedal to be pretty close. Use the
peak wah setting for the intro, then push it to the low setting for the chorus part.
