Honeymoon Avenue chords – Ariana Grande V8

 No Capo

Intro:

 G Dm Am C

Verse:

(G)I looked in my rear view mirror and (Dm)
It seemed to make a lot more (Am) sense
Than what I see ahead (C) of us, ahead of us, yeah.
(G) I'm ready to make that turn (Dm)
Before we both crash and burn (Am)
Cause that could be the death (C) of us, the death of us, baby

(G) You know how to drive in rain
(Dm) And you decided not to make a (Am) change
Stuck in the same old lane
(C) Going the wrong way home

Chorus:

I feel like my heart (G) is stuck in bumper-to-bumper (Dm) traffic,
I'm under pressure
Cause I can't have (Am) you the way that I want
Let's just go back (C) to the way it was

When we were on (G) Honeymoon Avenue
(Dm) Honeymoon Avenue
(Am) Baby, coastin' like crazy
Can we get back (C) to the way it was?

Continue until the end...

Get It Right chords – Offspring V2

 F#m / E / D / E / F#m X3
 F#m / E / D / Bm / C#

I've been told that to get what you want
You just gotta give what you can
But I know for what I want it don't come easy as that
They say, "Look out, boy
Tomorrow comes and things will look better by then."
But I'll look out the window
Then look in the mirror at the same old me again

 F#m / A / E / Bm X3
 D / E

[CHORUS]
Still can't get it right
And for all I know
I swear I never will

Do you think you'd sell your soul
To just have one thing to turn out right?
For the thousandth time you turnand find
That it just makes no difference to try
Like Holden Caulfield, I tell myself
There's got to be a better way
Then I lay in bed and stare at the ceiling
Dream of brighter days

[CHORUS]

No way out
Same old stuff always drags me down
Now way out
Never gonna get it

Man In The Mirror chords – Michael Jackson V6

Verses: I always pluck the 6th string and then strum Down,
then Up for the chords G to the second F#.
I then use the strumming pattern Down, Down, Up, Up, Down, Up (x2)
for the C chord. Repeat this pattern until you reach the bridge.

Bridge: Use the Down, Down, Up, Up, Down, Up pattern,
until you get to the second D chord, where you should
continually strum down until you reach the chorus.
Make sure to go straight into the chorus from the bridge.

Chorus: Again, pluck the 6th string and then strum
Down, then Up for the chords G to C, and repeat,
until you get to the Dm7 chord, where you should
strum Down and Up repeatedly until you reach the G chord,
where you revert back to the verse's strumming patterns.

Mirror Ball chords – Brother Cane

I believe that BC plays this song in some type of open tuning, but I can't figure out
which one. I also think they often tune down a 1/2 step from the open tuning.

All that to say, I have some questions about how correct this one is, but this version
works for me. I'm sure there are a couple of errors, and I welcome suggestions to fix
them. This song is a bit tricky for my ear.

What Now Chords – Rihanna V2

 Artist: Rihanna
Title: What Now
 Unapologetic

CAPO ON THE 2nd FRET

 F#m A E
I've been ignoring this big lump in my throat. I shouldn't be crying.
                F#m
Tears were for the weaker days
     A E
I'm stronger, now what, so I say, but something's missing

             F#m
Whatever it is, it feels like
      A E
It's laughing at me through the glass of a two-sided mirror
             F#m A E
Whatever it is, it's just laughing at me, and I just wanna scream:

 E F#m D
What now? I just can't figure it out
 E F#m D
What now? I guess I'll just wait it out
 E F#m D
What now?
    E F#m D
Whoa, what now?

 F#m A
I found the one, he changed my life
         E
But was it me that changed
                         F#m
And he just happened to come at the right time
 A E
I'm supposed to be in love, but I'm numb again

             F#m
Whatever it is, it feels like
      A E
It's laughing at me through the glass of a two-sided mirror
             F#m A
Whatever it is, it's just sitting there,
             E
Laughing at me, and I just wanna scream:

 E F#m D
What now? I just can't figure it out
 E F#m D
What now? I guess I'll just wait it out
 E F#m D
What now? Please tell me
 Em F#m D
What now?

 F#m A E
There's no one to call cause I'm just playing games with them all
 F#m A E C#m
The more I swear I'm happy, the more that I'm feeling alone
 F#m A
Cause I spent every hour just going through the motions
 E F#m
I can't even get the emotions to come out
 A B C# D
Dry as a bone, but I just wanna shout

 E F#m D
What now? I just can't figure it out
 E F#m D
What now? I guess I'll just wait it out (wait it out)
 E F#m D
What now? Somebody tell me

Shivers Chords – Rowland S Howard

 C G
I've been contemplating suicide,
 C G
But it really doesn't suit my style,
So I think I'll just act bored instead
And contain the blood I would've shed

She makes me feel so ill at ease
My heart is really on it's knees
But I keep a poker face so well
That even mother couldn't tell

But my baby's so vain
She is almost a mirror
And the sound of her name
Sends a permanent shiver down my
Spine

I keep her photograph against my heart
For in my life she plays a starring part
All alcohol and cigarettes
There is no room for cheap regrets

But my baby's so vain
She is almost a mirror
And the sound of her name
Sends a permanent shiver down my
Spine

She makes me feel so ill at ease
My heart is really on it's knees
But I keep a poker face so well
That even mother couldn't tell

But my baby's so vain
She is almost a mirror
And the sound of her name
Sends a perennial shiver down my
Spiii-yi-yiiii-yi-yiiii-yi-yiyiyi-ine

(The transition from G to C continues on in that pattern throughout the entire song.
p.s. Rowland wrote this at 17, Nick "stole" it. RIP Rowland.)

Lucille Chords – Billy Currington

 Lucille

Capo I

Intro : A A
In a bar in Toledo, across from the depot,
                                 E
On a barstool she took off her ring.

I thought I'd get closer, so I walked on over.
                               A
I sat down and asked her her name.

When the drinks finally hit her, she said, Im no quitter
                               D
But I finally quit living on dreams.
  E
I'm hungry for laughter, and here ever after
                                     A
Whatever the other life brings."

In the mirror I saw him, and I closely watched him.
I thought how he looked out of place.
He came to the woman who sat there beside me
He had a strange look on his face.

The big hands were calloused, he looked like a mountain,
For a minute I thought I was dead.
But he started shaking, his big heart was breaking,
He turned to the woman and said,

(Chorus)
                                         D
"You picked a fine time to leave me, Lucille
                                               A
With four hungry children and a crop in the field.
   D
I've had some bad times, I've lived through some sad times,
                             A
But this time the hurtin' won't heal.
                 E A   --------->  B
You picked a fine time to leave me, Lucille.

 B
After he left us, I ordered more whiskey.
                                    F#
I thought how she'd made him look small.
From the lights of the barroom to the rented hotel room
                              B
we walked without talking at all.

She was a beauty, but when she came to me
                                    E
She must have thought I'd lost my mind.
  F#
I couldn't hold her, for the words that he told her
                              B
Kept comin' back time after time.

(Chorus)
                                        E
"You picked a fine time to leave me, Lucille
                                              B
With four hungry children and a crop in the field.
  E
I've had some bad times,
I've lived through some sad times,
                                  B
But this time the hurtin' won't heal.
              F# B
You picked a fine time to leave me, Lucille.

(Chorus)
"You picked a fine time to leave me, Lucille
                                              B

Aren't you somethin' to admire, cause your shine is somethin' like a mirror
                      D Em Am G
And I can't help but notice, you reflect in this heart of mine
        Bm A Em G
If you ever feel alone and the glare makes me hard to find
                    D Em Am G
Just know that I'm always peering out on the other side

[Pre-Chorus]
                            Em A
Cause with your hand in my hand and a pocket full of soap
                        Em G
I can tell you there's no place we couldn't go
                           D Em
Just put your hand on the past, I'm here tryin' to pull you through
                     A
You just gotta be strong

                              D
Cause I don't wanna lose you now
                                 G
I'm lookin' right at the other half of me
                               D
The biggest seat is set in my heart
             A G

Comin' back into you once I figured it out

You were right here all along

It's like you're my mirror

                              D
And now it's clear as this promise
             A Em Bm
That we're making two reflections into one
                            D
