No Mans Land chords – Bob Seger And The Silver Bullet Band

 C - G - D - Am (2x)

 C G D Am
Headin' in or headin' out, standing on the shore,
 C G D Am
pause a moment to reflect which trip costs you more.
 C G D Am
Between the ever restless crowds and the silence of your room,
 C G D Am
spend an hour in no man's land, you'll be leaving soon.

 C G D Am
Victims come and victims go, there's always lots to spare,
 C G D Am
one victim lives the tragedy, one victim stops to stare.
 C G D Am
And still another walks on by pretending not to see,
 C G D Am
they're all out there in no man's land ‘cause it's the safest place to be.

 F Bb C F
but sanctuary never comes without some kind of risk,
 F Bb C D
Illusions without freedom never quite add up to bliss.
 F Bb C F
The haunting and the haunted play a game no one can win,
 F Bb C D
The spirits come at midnight and by dawn they're gone again.

 C G D Am
And so it seems our destiny to search and never rest,
 C G D Am
to ride that ever changing wave that never seems to crest.
 C G D Am
To shiver in the darkest night, afraid to make a stand,
 C G D Am
and then go back and do our time out there in no man's land.

Silver Bells chords – Christmas Songs

This is higher than the bing crosby version. I'm not much of a crooner. There's a lot
of little variation you can put in to change it up. This is a tab for people that
want to make it a little more interesting but without making it very hard. This isn't
something you can just read and sing along to. you'll probably have to get used to
the variations. I'll put different versions of the chords like this: 1A 2A. It just
means which version of "A major" i like to play in certain places. I like to swing to
the E7 from Eb7 to E7. I also like to put some of the melodies in the chords, but I
won't include any of these little things in the tab. The first chorus isn't exactly
like the others because bing sings the beginning drawn out.

If the 2D 2A part gets annoying sometimes I fit in these 4 chords in the same
space. Totally optional though. It's just there if you want to hear something else.

2E Eb 2D 2A

Enjoy!

Silver Bill chords – Mat Kerekes V3

 Standard Tuning
Capo 1st fret

(Intro) C G C C G C
I could tell you were planning to stay
         C G Am
I could tell that some things hadn't changed
              C G Am Fmaj7
How you were sayin' my name with that smile on your face
               C G C
Yeah, I could tell you were carried away

             C G C
I heard you don't fall asleep in your bed
             C G Am
I heard you haven't quite found yourself yet
                C G Am Fmaj7
I heard you're out every night with those liquor eyes
           C G C
Searching for a good man to treat you right

         C G C
I still listen to those same songs
        C G C
That I showed you a summer ago
        C G Am Fmaj7
Do you remember when I drove late that night
         C G C
And you didnt even bother to call

           C G C
I saw you at my friends party last night
              C G Am
You're still searchin' for something that shines
        C G Am Fmaj7
Yeah I watched as you cried and I felt satisfied
          C G C
And that just doesn't seem right

 C G Am C C G Am C C G C C G C
I blistered the bottom of my feet
            C G Am
While your eyes have grown tired of me
                 C G Am Fmaj7
You've got your drink in your hands with your one night stands
                 C G C
That stuff just never meant much to me

    C G C
We lied on the bathroom floor
        C G Am
With a mouth full of lies to ignore
         C G Am Fmaj7
Like my brother would say you'll realize one day
              C G C
That I would just like to know for sure

    C G C
My friend gave me a silver bill
            C G Am
He used to keep it for good luck and will
      C G Am Fmaj7
well I don't believe in things like these
       C G C
But I keep it in my left pocket still

            C G C
When every weekends a chance to live
         C G Am
And you cant wait to do it again
                C G Am Fmaj7
You're clearly growin' up fast you've changed all your plans
               C G C
I'm still the same kid you fell in love with.

I Remember Me chords – Silver Jews

 C F C
He almost walked into a wall
 C F C
Oh, man, she was a sight to see
 C Am F
And at the party down the hall
 C F C
He said, "you are the highest apple in the tree"

 C F C
Out the window, in the harbor he saw a little ship
 C F C
The moon was worn just slightly on the right
 C Am F
And they slow danced so the needle wouldn't skip
 C F C
Until the room was filled with light

 F
And I remember you
 C
And I remember me
 E
The sunshine walking inside you
 Am
And the man you could see in me
 F
So I remember me
 C
And I remember you
 E
So many beautiful days in a row now
 Am
And the nights were perfect, too

 C F C
Hand in hand down a waterslide in Chattanooga
 C F C
They did not hide from love, you see
 C Am F
A winter's plane flight to Aruba
 C F C
Where he threw a boombox into the sea
 C F C
One day they were cutting flowers for something to do
 C F C
On the bank of the road 'neath the cotton woods
 C Am F
And he turned to her to ask if she'd marry him
 C F C
When a runaway truck hit him where he stood

 F
So I remember you
 C
And I remember you
 F
And I remember you
 C
And I remember me
 F
And I remember me
 E
A blackhawk nailed to the sky
 Am
And the tape is from the trees

 C F C
Everybody said she needed to move on
 C F C
That he was all but lost, so deep was his coma
 C Am F
When he finally came to the girl he loved was long gone
 C F C
She'd married a banker and gone to Oklahoma
 C F C
He bought a little land with the money from the settlement
 C F C
And even bought the truck that had hit him that day
 C Am F
He touched the part where the metal was bent
 C F C
And if you were there you wouldn't hear him say
 F
I remember her
 C
And I remember him
 F
I remember them
 C
I remember then
 F
I'm just remembering
 C
I'm just remembering
 F
Just remembering
 C
I'm just remembering
