Love this track from this great band, there was already a tab on here but I don't think
it was quite correct
so I've tabbed out the version that I play. Any corrections please email me. Thanks

sparse notes low in the mix within B minor Pentatonic, mainly uses an E note on the 9th
fret of the G string

Absolutely love this cover at the moment, so i worked it out by ear and now i'm tabbing
it out for everyone
else, I'm pretty sure it's correct, please email me any suggestions or corrections if not!

I'm fairly confident that LG actually tune a half step down to play this song but I've
tabbed it out in
standard for ease of use.

Listen to the track whilst learning to get the rhythms and timings right :)

London Calling chords – The Clash

 The Clash-London Calling

So many people seem to think there is a C chord in London Calling and there
simply is not. It is the bass that plays the C (Which is the 5th instead of
the root) while the guitar is playing the F. Once you start banging out the
chords your ears should sort everything out. Please message me if you have
 any questions - Gharms85

This is the main rhythm guitar that is loudest in the mix.

        G D
Turn a blind eye with a stare caught right in the middle
          Am
Have you wondered for a while
           G D
I have a feeling deep down you’re caught in the middle
        C G D
And a lion, a lion, roars would you not listen?
      Am G D
If a child, a child cries would you not give them

Chorus:
        C
Yeah I might seem so strong
        G
Yeah I might speak so long
            D
I’ve never been so wrong
        C
Yeah I might seem so strong
        G
Yeah I might speak so long
            D
I’ve never been so wrong

   Am
Excuse me for a while,
           G D
While I’m wide eyed and so damn caught in the middle
    Am
I excused you for a while,
           G D
While I’m wide eyed and so damn caught in the middle

Chorus:
        C
Yeah I might seem so strong
        G
Yeah I might speak so long
            D
I’ve never been so wrong
        C
Yeah I might seem so strong
        G
Yeah I might speak so long
            D
I’ve never been so wrong
